About Barbara Collins Law, PC
Attorney Collins is a licensed attorney in Good Standing in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She is also certified by the Massachusetts First Circuit Court Federal Court and the Massachusetts Federal Court of Appeals.

Attorney Barbara Collins grew up in Boston North, her family originating from Cambridge, Massachusetts and later settling in Andover, where she received her Bachelor’s degree from Merrimack College. As both a college and high school teacher/instructor, Barbara worked in the education field for a number of years and also worked as a marketing consultant for a technology company while pursuing her Master’s Degree at Boston University.
Having married, she and her husband raised a family of three daughters; after teaching at both Salem State and Northern Essex for a number of years, Barbara decided to make her her life-long goal of attending law school a reality. She received her Juris Doctorate from Massachusetts School of Law in 2011 and worked at a small practice before going out on her own.
Attorney Collins’ experience as a teacher and writer and experience in business, provided a good foundation for her to transition to a career in law, utilizing her research, argument writing and speaking skills.

Barbara is now in her second decade of practice as an attorney, and she is the owner of her current firm.
In her not so spare time, Attorney Collins has served on various boards, such as the Exeter area school board, the John Greenleaf Whittier Museum and the Essex Pro Bono Lawyer for a Day Program. She also enjoys swimming, spending time in the lakes region of New Hampshire, travelling and spending time with her family.
